Job summary

Wall Colmonoy’s Aerobraze division in Cincinnati seeks a Furnace Operator to control and monitor heat treat furnaces, load/unload parts, and ensure safe operation. Candidates should have a high school diploma and preferably 5+ years of related experience, with 1 year vacuum furnace experience being a plus.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-year professional work experience and/or training preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating a vacuum furnace for heat treat preferred.
• Knowledge of heat treating processes preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor heat treat furnaces while following written instructions.
• Prepare parts for processing; load and unload furnaces, fixtures, baskets, etc.
• Ability to troubleshoot unexpected issues and/or notify supervisor.
• Practice and promote safety and good housekeeping.
