Chromalloy is seeking a skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team in Newnan. You will perform precision welding on aerospace components using manual TIG, CNC TIG, Laser Weld, and Electron Beam processes, supporting safety and quality requirements.

The role includes reading travelers and blueprints, preparing joints, maintaining equipment, and documenting production activities. A high school diploma and WD-001 certification (or ability to obtain) are required; English communication and

• WD-001 certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to pass a reading comprehension assessment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, travelers, and work instructions.
• Knowledge of welding processes, procedures, and quality requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Basic computer skills for production tracking and documentation.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weld joints and components according to traveler instructions and work requirements.
• Perform welding operations using manual TIG, CNC TIG, Laser Weld, and EB welding equipment.
• Complete welding activities on aerospace components meeting quality and productivity standards.
• Prepare parts for welding using belt sanding and other finishing methods.
• Inspect welding tools, fixtures, and equipment before use.
• Complete required production, traveler, and quality documentation accurately.
• Perform preventative maintenance on welding equipment as required.
• Maintain production, quality, and safety standards at all times.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and audit-ready.
• Follow all company quality, environmental, safety, and ethical standards.
• Support Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
