Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical trade school preferred.
• Ability to use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Nadcap weld audit experience preferred.
• Familiarity with AS9100 quality management systems.
• Knowledge of ERP systems Infor Syteline.
• Prior weld experience in aerospace, defense, or high-precision manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, weld symbols, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of welded aerospace components.
• Verify conformance to internal weld schedules.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and weld symbols to verify conformance.
• Document inspection results on weld forms as well as electronic test plan.
• Verify adherence to industry standards such as AWS D17.1, ASME, or Nadcap requirements.
