Job summary

Glendee Corp. is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector II for the second shift to perform visual and dimensional inspections of precision-machined metal parts. You will read blueprints with GD&T, use CMMs and surface plate methods, and document results.

Ideal candidates have hands-on inspection experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced aerospace environment. This role offers second shift hours and competitive pay plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on inspection of precision-machined metal parts.
• Ability to read complex blueprints and apply GD&T.
• Experience with surface plate inspection methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of precision-machined metal parts.
• Perform first-article, in-process, receiving, and final inspections.
• Read blueprints and apply GD&T requirements.
• Use surface plate methods, precision measuring tools, and established CMM programs.
• Record inspection results and document parts that do not meet requirements.
• Verify material certifications and inspection documentation.
• Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated and in good condition.
• Collaborate with Quality team to resolve issues.
• Follow safety, FOD-prevention, and quality procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
