Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; welding/fabrication certification preferred.
• Experience as a fitter/welder with aerospace exposure preferred.
• Knowledge of aerospace materials and welding methods; blueprint interpretation required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications for layout and assembly.
• Perform fitting and welding on aluminum and stainless steel.
• Utilize MIG, TIG, and stick welding to create strong joints.
• Inspect work for quality and adherence to specs; make adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers and team members to troubleshoot fabrication issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety practices.
• Participate in ongoing training to improve aerospace welding techniques.
