Job summary

Acara Solutions in Elyria, OH, seeks a Value Stream Manager in the aerospace sector to lead a cross-functional team and drive the annual operating plan.

You will focus on safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory and growth, mentor supervisors, and own continuous improvement roadmaps. Onsite schedule M-F 7:30-4:30.

Requires manufacturing degree and Lean/Value Stream Mapping, leadership experience, ERP familiarity, ITAR compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or related field.
• 3+ years of Value Stream Mapping or Lean experience in manufacturing (aerospace/auto/medical devices).
• 2+ years of leadership or supervision experience.
• 1+ year of ERP system experience (Oracle a plus).
• ITAR aerospace plant experience—U.S. Persons required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across functions to ensure alignment and operational success.
• Drive accountability for KPI reporting on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth.
• Lead kaizen events and lean initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Develop and mentor associates to build a high-performing team.
• Participate in budgeting and long-range capital planning.
• Own continuous improvement roadmap and future-state execution.
• Summarize results and prepare executive/customer review materials.
• Promote safe work practices per OSHA and company policies.
• Support program initiatives like 5S, Standard Work, and Problem Solving.
