Job summary

Element Materials Technology seeks a certified NDT Ultrasonic Level II Inspector (Immersion) to perform immersion ultrasonic inspections on aerospace components. You will set up, calibrate, and operate immersion UT equipment, select techniques, and evaluate results for conformance with customer specifications and NAS 410 standards.

The ideal candidate holds NAS 410 Level II or equivalent certification, has at least 1 year of UT immersion experience, and can read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Must hold NAS 410 Level II or equivalent aerospace certification for Ultrasonic Testing.
• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on UT immersion inspection experience on aerospace components.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications and procedures; proficient in documentation and data recording.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations, immersion UT inspections, and evaluations per codes, standards, and customer specs to determine acceptance or rejection.
• Set up, verify, and maintain immersion UT systems and transducers for accuracy and repeatability.
• Interpret and document test results with inspection data, equipment settings and evaluation outcomes per quality system requirements.
• Collaborate within an inspection cell team to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of inspected components.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and uphold Element's safety culture.
