Job summary

Element Materials Technology is seeking a certified NDT Ultrasonic Level II Inspector (Immersion) to perform immersion ultrasonic inspections on aerospace components in accordance with applicable specifications and customer requirements.

The role involves setup, calibration, and operation of immersion UT equipment, technique selection, and interpretation of inspection results to determine conformance and detect discontinuities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) under NAS 410 or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on UT immersion inspection experience on aerospace components.
• Strong understanding of ultrasonic theory, transducer selection, and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations and immersion UT inspections per customer specs to determine acceptance or rejection.
• Set up and maintain immersion UT systems and transducers for accuracy and repeatability.
• Interpret and document test results with appropriate records per quality system requirements.
• Collaborate with inspection cell team to ensure efficient part flow and on-time delivery.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and follow all safety protocols.
