Job summary

Element Materials Technology is seeking a certified NDT Ultrasonic Level II Inspector (Immersion) to perform immersion UT inspections on aerospace components in South Windsor, CT. You will set up, calibrate, and operate immersion UT equipment, select techniques, and evaluate results to determine acceptance or rejection.

The ideal candidate has NAS 410 Level II certification, at least 1 year of UT immersion experience, and strong knowledge of ultrasonic theory and transducers.

Qualifications

• Must hold NAS 410 Level II certification with immersion UT proficiency.
• Minimum 1 year hands-on UT immersion inspection experience on aerospace components.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and procedures.
• Proficient in documentation and data recording for inspection traceability.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cell-team environment and maintain safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations and immersion ultrasonic inspections per customer specs and codes.
• Set up and maintain immersion UT systems and transducers for accuracy and repeatability.
• Interpret and document inspection results with data and evaluations.
• Collaborate with inspection cell team to ensure efficient part flow and timely delivery.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and uphold Element’s safety culture.
