Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an Inspector - NDT II to perform Ultrasonic nondestructive testing on flight-critical hardware and samples. You will develop and apply techniques, interpret results, and document findings to assure part integrity and life span.

The role requires NAS-410 Level II ultrasonic certification with 800+ hours, ability to read blueprints, strong communication with engineers, and willingness to work 2nd shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Must qualify to NAS-410 Level II in Ultrasonic with 800+ hours documented experience
• Must meet NAS-410 training requirements in Ultrasound methods
• Familiar with ASTM E164 and E2375 for UT and phased arrays

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain techniques to examine hardware per safety and spec requirements
• Perform Ultrasonic inspections on flight-critical hardware and test samples
• Interpret inspection results and apply acceptance criteria from drawings/work orders
• Document inspection results and communicate findings to Engineers/Managers
