Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle is seeking an Inspector - NDT II to perform ultrasonic inspections of flight-critical hardware and test samples, ensuring part integrity, quality and life span.

You will join a multidisciplinary team of NDT specialists, technicians, and engineers, applying NAS-410 Ultrasonic Level II standards, documenting results, and communicating findings to engineers and managers on a 2nd shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Certify to NAS-410 Ultrasonic Level II with 800+ documented hours.
• Pass Ultrasonic General and Specific tests by week 3.
• Meet near vision and color perception requirements.
• Experience interpreting inspection data and reading blueprints/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Establish techniques to inspect hardware per safety specs.
• Perform Ultrasonic inspections.
• Interpret results against drawings or work orders.
• Document inspection results.
• Interface with engineers/managers to discuss results.
