Job summary

Nidec Aerospace is seeking a Trade Control Program Manager to oversee import/export processes for aerospace and defense initiatives. You will lead the trade control function, govern data quality, classifications, origin determinations, screening, broker coordination, and ensure compliance across EAR, ITAR, and customer requirements.

Based in Atlanta (preferred), this role partners with NAHC Trade Compliance and cross‑functional teams to support prototype hardware, technology transfers, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required; equivalent professional experience considered.
• 5+ years of global trade compliance or related international trade experience, preferably in aerospace/defense.
• Experience with HTS/ECCN classifications, country-of-origin determinations, denied party screening, and broker coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Nidec Aerospace trade control function and supervise Trade Control Specialists.
• Oversee import/export operations, classifications, country-of-origin determinations, and screening activities.
• Coordinate shipment execution with internal/external logistics partners.
• Maintain master data and trade-related records, including certifications and licenses.
• Support audits, corrective actions, and responses to government inquiries.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
