Job summary

AAA USA Inc in North Carolina is seeking a Tooling Technician to install, repair, maintain, align, and modify precision tooling, jigs, molds, fixtures, and industrial equipment used in aerospace manufacturing.

You will dismantle, move, assemble, install, and repair machinery per blueprints or verbal instructions; perform scheduled inspections; set up machine tools; and participate in root-cause analyses with vendors, engineering, and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of aerospace tooling or precision machining experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Dismantles, moves, assembles, installs, and repairs industrial machinery and equipment per layout plans, blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions.
• Dismantles equipment using hammers, wrenches, crowbars and other hand tools; moves machinery using hoists, dollies, rollers and trucks.
• Sets up and operates machine tools and fabrication machinery to rework or make parts; conducts routine maintenance and inspections.
• Performs root/cause analysis in support of reliability processes and collaborates with vendors, engineering, and maintenance teams to implement corrective actions.
