The Structures Company in Kinston, NC is seeking a Tooling Technician to dismantle, move, assemble and repair industrial machinery per blueprints and plans. The role requires 3+ years in aerospace tooling or precision machining, and proficiency with laser trackers, GD&T blueprints, overhead gantry cranes, and hydraulic systems.

You will also perform routine machine maintenance, participate in root-cause analysis, and use SAP/Excel for data handling.

Competenze

• 3+ years of aerospace tooling or precision machining experience.
• Proficiency with laser trackers, GD&T blueprints, overhead gantry cranes, and hydraulic systems.
• High School diploma or technical degree.
• Knowledge of station safety, quality (FOD) and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to enter, generate and retrieve information using a computer (SAP and Excel knowledge required).
• High School Diploma/GED or WorkKeys Assessment completion.

Mansioni

• Dismantles, moves, assembles, installs, and repairs industrial machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions.
• Dismantles equipment and machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools.
• Moves machinery and equipment using hoist, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
• Assembles and installs equipment such as conveyors and tram rails using hand and power tools.
• Constructs foundations, aligns machines, and performs scheduled inspection and maintenance.
• Sets up and operates machine tools and fabrication machinery to rework or make new parts.
• Performs root cause analysis in support reliability processes and collaborates with vendors, engineering, team leader, customer, other crafts, and management to solve equipment problems and develop corrective action.
• Reworks and maintains tools of all types and materials.
• Performs routine minor machine maintenance including replacing machine filters, changing light bulbs, and maintaining lubrication/coolant levels.
• Repairs and builds lay-up tools.
