Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Columbus, GA, is seeking a Tool Designer to design fixtures, gauges, and tooling for aerospace manufacturing, utilizing Siemens NX to create tooling designs and blueprints.

You will collaborate with the manufacturing engineering team on project development, evaluate tooling builds for internal production or external vendors, and support process improvements while maintaining GD&T standards.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2+ years experience, or Associate's degree and 4+ years experience, or 6+ years experience in lieu of degree.
• Proven cross-functional project experience.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling/drafting software, with preference for Siemens NX.
• Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to information under this program/contract.

Aufgaben

• Design fixtures, gauges, and tooling to support the manufacturing process for aerospace hardware.
• Utilize Siemens NX to create tooling designs and blueprints.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing engineering team on project development and tooling investigations.
• Assess tooling builds for internal production or outsourcing to tooling vendors; interact with tooling vendors as needed.
• Work with the manufacturing engineering team to incorporate design changes or specifications.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives, reducing costs and increasing throughput.
• Maintain tooling blueprint storage in compliance with customer policies and procedures.
• Provide shop floor support and assist in RCCA processes.
