Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Tool Maker in Chandler, AZ to design, fabricate, and repair precision tooling for aerospace applications. The role emphasizes measurement, GD&T, and adherence to strict tolerances, with opportunities to improve tooling processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience as Tool Maker or precision tooling specialist.
• Strong GD&T, blueprint reading, and measurement skills.
• Experience with manual machining equipment.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, repair, and modify dies, fixtures, jigs, gauges, and tooling.
• Operate lathe, mill, grinder and other toolroom equipment.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications to meet tolerances.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to improve tooling.
• Maintain tooling records and support maintenance planning.
