Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) in Heath, OH seeks a Tool and Fixture Specialist to join our Manufacturing Team on the 3rd shift. You will set up, maintain and inspect tooling, fabricate tools, and provide tooling support across the organization to enable parts successful production.

The role requires 5+ years in tooling manufacturing and fabrication tooling, proficient use of hand tools, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
• 5+ years of experience with tooling manufacturing.
• 5+ years of experience in fabrication tooling.
• 5+ years of experience using hand tools and/or hand-held power tools.

Responsibilities

• Performs required tool set up, maintenance, inspection and repairs.
• Manufactures assembly tools using appropriate precision tools and machinery.
• Operates various factory support equipment to move materials and tools as required.
• Uses precision equipment to build, maintain and inspect tools.
• Provides tooling support to other organizations.
• Designs fabrication and assembly tools per part drawings for tool fabrication.
