Responsibilities include auditing tools, conducting tooling studies, testing tooling performance, and resolving tooling issues while collaborating with the tooling engineer and production team. Strong GD&T knowledge and CAD/Excel proficiency are valued.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in STEM or 2+ years related experience is required.
• Experience with tooling in aircraft manufacturing is a plus.
• Knowledge of GD&T and tooling performance testing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Audit and maintain proper tools in each assembly area.
• Support tooling studies and applications.
• Conduct performance testing for tooling and provide analyses.
• Investigate and resolve tooling issues.
• Propose new tooling solutions and assist with installation of tooling projects.
• Assist assemblers with safe use of tools.
• Ensure tooling compliance to aerospace standards.
