Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a junior to mid-level Energetics MFG engineer (Tool Engineer) to support the Clearfield, Utah facility. You will design tooling, produce drawings, and ensure fabrication meets engineering requirements.

You will liaise with manufacturing teams, reviewers, and suppliers, performing stress analysis and manufacturability reviews. Travel 15–20% is expected, with growth opportunities and security clearance support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in a STEM discipline with a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in tooling and related equipment.
• May be hired at level 2 with a BS and 2 years of experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Experience with hand calculations and FEA practices.

Responsibilities

• Interface with the review team to ensure customer satisfaction with design.
• Manage projects and coordinate procurements and fabrication to meet cost and schedule targets.
• Inspect tooling to assure design compliance and quality.
