Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Utah is seeking a Principal/Tool Designer Modeler (Level 2 or 3) to join the team at Clearfield. You will design tooling, create 3D CAD models, and generate 2D drawings for aerospace tooling and equipment, collaborating with engineering and manufacturing to meet quality, cost, and schedule goals.

The role requires experience with NX and TeamCenter PLM, strong communication, and the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

Qualificações

• Experience in 3D CAD modeling using standard commercial CAD software.
• Experience in 2D drafting and drawing creation from 3D models.
• Experience modifying existing 2D drawings and 3D CAD models.

Responsabilidades

• Interface with review team to assure customer satisfaction with design.
• Work with engineering and manufacturing to ensure program quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Design, model and draw needed support equipment for new and existing programs.
• Develop tooling concepts to meet customer requirements.
• Create 3D CAD models and 2D final drawings with Tool Engineers.
• Monitor cost and schedule; ensure manufacturability and DFM.
