Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal/Tool Designer Modeler (Level 2 or 3) to join the team in Clearfield, Utah. The role focuses on concept design, 3D CAD modeling, 2D fabrication drawings, and tooling fabrication support for aerospace applications.

Candidates should have 6–9 years of experience with CAD, 3D/2D modeling, and tooling design, with NX and Teamcenter PLM familiarity. The position offers salary ranges and comprehensive benefits, including health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in 3D CAD modeling using standard commercial CAD software.
• Experience in 2D drafting and drawing creation from 3D models.
• Experience in design and fabrication of special tooling and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Interface with review team to assure customer satisfaction with design.
• Work with engineering and manufacturing to ensure program quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Develop tooling concepts to meet customer requirements; create 3D models and 2D drawings.
