Job summary

AAA USA in Jupiter, FL is hiring experienced Thermal Spray Technicians to support aerospace manufacturing and gas turbine component repair programs. You will operate robotic thermal spray equipment, prepare components, and ensure coating quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in thermal spray, aerospace manufacturing, CNC machining, or related field.
• Experience with thermal spray systems (GTV, Sulzer Metco or similar) preferred.
• Experience with HVOF, Plasma Spray, APS, or TBC coatings preferred.
• Robotics experience (FANUC/ABB/KUKA) is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Proficient with precision measurement and inspection equipment.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic thermal spray equipment to apply protective coatings on aerospace gas turbine components.
• Prepare components for coating through blasting, masking, cleaning, and fixture installation.
• Program and monitor automated coating systems and robotic cells.
• Inspect coating thickness and coverage using precision measuring tools.
• Read engineering drawings and coating specs, document production and inspection results.
• Perform routine maintenance on thermal spray equipment and related systems.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety procedures.
