Job summary

Aerospace Test Technician – 2nd Shift at Professional Employment Group in Littleton, CO. This full-time / contract-to-hire role is on a 2nd shift schedule (Mon–Fri, 3:00 PM–12:00 AM) and pays $28–$45/hour, depending on experience.

The position involves testing and integration of advanced aerospace hardware, environmental and functional testing, troubleshooting, and collaboration with engineering teams. Strong hands-on aerospace test background and ability to read drawings are required.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of hands‑on aerospace test experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, data acquisition systems, vacuum systems, and related test equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and test equipment.
• Knowledge of high‑pressure systems.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Familiarity with IPC, J‑STD, cleanroom, ESD, or FOD requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and execute environmental and functional testing.
• Perform hardware assembly, integration, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Conduct thermal vacuum, vibration, EMI, and high‑pressure testing.
• Operate and troubleshoot vacuum chambers, data acquisition systems, and other test equipment.
• Analyze test data and investigate anomalies.
• Read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Develop and improve test procedures and work instructions.
• Work with engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians.
