Job summary

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in aerospace environmental testing or equivalent.
• Familiarity with common aerospace assembly and inspection tools such as torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, multimeters.
• Experience assisting with writing technical work instructions related to Environmental Testing.
• Understanding and experience with quality management systems such as AS9100.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental testing of aerospace mechanisms using established procedures (static load, thermal vacuum, vibration).
• Operate spaceflight hardware and test fixtures and collect data.
• Attach/detach components on spaceflight hardware and inspect post-test.
• Maintain test fixtures and contribute to process improvements.
• Assist with non-conformance investigations.
