Job summary

Whippany Actuation Systems, a dynamic aerospace manufacturer, seeks a Test Technician (2nd Shift) to build, test, diagnose and repair test equipment used for electromechanical actuators and components.

The role covers qualification, acceptance and validation testing, wiring of test rigs, calibration, ESS testing, and Lean activities while preparing technical reports for production. A2 years of experience and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in engineering/electronics.
• Two years of technical experience in manufacturing environment.
• Authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Performs qualification tests per approved procedures and prepares documentation.
• Troubleshoots and repairs test systems or equipment for production and qualification testing.
• Performs acceptance testing of product and troubleshoots to meet criteria.
• Assembles and wires new test rigs per instructions and diagrams.
• Performs calibration of test systems and coordinates calibration services.
• Participates in 5S and Lean activities.
• Maintains high level of customer satisfaction with internal and external customers.
