Job summary

ResourceTek is seeking two experienced Construction Superintendents or Field Engineers for an aerospace testing site near Hancock County, Mississippi. The roles require 5+ years of construction supervision experience and involve 12-hour shifts on a six-day schedule in a fast-paced 3-month contract.

Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, ensuring quality and safety, and maintaining detailed project documentation while collaborating with client engineering teams to resolve field

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of construction supervision experience.
• Experience supervising complex structures and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors.
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
• Willingness to work extended hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of subcontractors on complex construction activities.
• Coordinate daily construction operations, labor, and equipment.
• Implement quality control measures per client standards.
• Enforce site safety protocols for aerospace requirements.
• Monitor progress against schedule; resolve issues.
• Review construction methodologies for engine testing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with client engineering teams on field issues.
• Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and construction documentation.
• Identify and resolve field problems to protect schedule and budget.
