Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a Senior Manager, Construction Engineering at the Stennis Space Center in Mississippi to lead the design, engineering, and construction of Terran R test infrastructure. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and act as owner’s representative with consultants, contractors, and regulators.

Responsibilities include developing designs, budgets, and schedules, plus on-site construction management and vendor coordination. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 7 years in aerospace or construction with field engineering and project management experience.
• Experience with design documentation, construction drawings, bid solicitations, contractor selection, construction management, field supervision, permitting, QA/QC, and safety.
• Experience in project scoping, budgeting, and scheduling at both the task and overall construction program levels.
• Experience with architectural, structural, civil, and MEPF design, construction, and operations.
• Proficiency working within 3D models using NX, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, design, engineering, and construction of Terran R test infrastructure.
• Coordinate cross-functional technical teams to define architectural, structural, civil, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and industrial requirements.
• Serve as the owner’s representative with external consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies, while partnering internally to develop designs, budgets, and schedules.
• Manage construction documentation, RFPs, bidding and evaluations, subcontractor selection and oversight, and on-site construction management to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
• Up to 25% travel to support design, construction, testing, and operations across Relativity sites.
