Job summary

RTX, Collins Aerospace, is seeking a Test Engineering Co-op for a full-time, on-site program. You will join an engineering team to develop, test, and qualify aircraft escape systems and components, and set up high-speed camera tests to capture events.

You will work with energetic propulsion devices under staff guidance and help prepare fixtures and test articles per program needs. This is a rigorous mentorship opportunity aligned with aerospace testing.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in a STEM field and enrolled through the internship session.
• Experience in test environments is desirable.
• Exposure to aerospace testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support test setup and execution across onsite programs.
• Operate high-speed cameras to capture test events.
• Assist with safe handling of energetic propulsion devices under staff guidance.
• Collaborate with engineers to build and prep test fixtures and articles.
