Job summary

RTX is offering a full-time co-op in Test Engineering at Collins Aerospace in Virgin, UT. You will support test setup, execution, and technical operations across onsite programs and learn from engineers in a hands-on mentorship.

You will work with high-speed cameras, energetic propulsion devices, and test fixtures, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and gain experience in aerospace testing during May–December term.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in a STEM field and enrolled through internship/co-op
• Experience in test environments is preferred
• Experience with energetic materials or aerospace testing is a plus
• Experience with high‑speed video systems or data acquisition systems
• Comfort working on cross‑functional teams
• Prior RTX internship or co‑op experience is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Support test setup, execution and general technical operations across onsite programs
• Set up and operate high‑speed cameras to capture test events
• Assist with safe handling of energetic propulsion devices under supervision
• Collaborate with engineers to build, modify and prepare test fixtures and articles
