Job summary

RTX is seeking a Summer and Fall Co-op in Test Engineering within the Avionics team in Melbourne, FL. You will work on test equipment solutions for Collins Aerospace products and programs. You should be enrolled in a STEM degree and able to take Fall 2026 off to participate.

You will assist Project Engineers, develop software and tools to improve processes, manage tasks, and present technical information to peers and customers.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Experience with C++ and C#
• Experience in AI/Data Analytics

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineers in developing and maintaining test solutions.
• Contribute to the success of a cross-functional team.
• Assist Project Engineers in managing the projects.
• Develop software and tools to improve process efficiency.
• Lead and manage project related tasks.
• Prepare and present project/technical information to peers, internal management and customers.
• Plan and manage tasks effectively.
