Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking a Test Engineer for our Elyria, OH location. You will design test equipment, develop procedures, and perform analyses to ensure cost, quality, and customer requirements in the aerospace sector.

Under supervision, you will plan and execute test activities, generate reports, and collaborate with multiple departments to meet schedules and budgets. strong engineering background and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in an engineering discipline.
• Masters or PhD preferred.
• Experience: 1-4 years in related engineering roles.
• Knowledge of scripting, programming, and verification.
• Familiarity with automated test systems and data acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Design test equipment and develop test procedures.
• Plan, estimate, and manage test activities to meet schedules.
• Produce design and development documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality and business teams.
• Support IPT activities and ensure data accuracy.
• Provide technical supervision to test technicians.
