Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Production Test Technician for the 1st shift in Elyria, Ohio. The role involves testing pumps, valves, and motors, setting up test equipment, and recording data using electronic measuring devices.

You will work with Engineering on new pump production and ensure quality at every step. Candidates should have a High School Diploma and basic math skills; experience with inspection tools like micrometers and calipers is a plus. U.S.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; Prior test experience preferred.
• Experience with micrometers, calipers and height gauges is a plus.
• Must be able to read blueprints, detail sheets, test procedures, and written instructions; Adequate mechanical aptitude.
• Must be a US Person for ITAR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Test products and operate production pumps and test equipment per procedures.
• Enter data into digital measuring equipment and record results.
• Coordinate with Engineering to set up new production pumps and assist testing of development units.
• Inspect and verify product meets standards at each step; document non-conformances.
• Rotate across different workstations and perform required rework and safety checks.
