Job summary

Donaldson Company is seeking an Assembly/Test Technician in Dixon, IL for the 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 2:00 pm–12:00 am).

You will test Aerospace Hydraulic components, record data, and install units in fixtures, ensuring compliance with test requirements and company standards. A strong mechanical/electrical background and hydraulic experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years as a test technician in manufacturing.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Mechanical/electrical knowledge and hydraulic experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Self-starter with objective-driven focus.
• Knowledge of AS9100 or aerospace environment preferred.
• Experience with complex parts and production operations.

Responsibilities

• Test aerospace hydraulic components, electrical assemblies and products.
• Record and analyze test data to ensure Acceptance Test Requirements.
• Install units in test fixtures, connect valves, pumps, hydraulics, and indicators to verify compliance.
