Job summary

Donaldson Company, Inc. in Dixon, IL is seeking a dedicated Assembly/Test Technician for 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 2:00 pm–12:00 am).

You will test aerospace hydraulic components and electrical assemblies, record data, and verify test results against Acceptance Test Requirements, with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years as a test technician in manufacturing.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Mechanical/electrical knowledge, hydraulic experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of AS9100 or aerospace environments preferred.
• Experience with complex parts and production operations.

Responsibilities

• Test and operate aerospace hydraulic components, electrical assemblies, and products.
• Record and analyze test data to verify Acceptance Test Requirements.
• Install units in fixtures, connect controls, valves, pumps, and instruments to test.
