Job summary

Donaldson is seeking an Assembly/Test Technician in Dixon, IL for the 2nd shift (2:00 pm to 12:00 am). You will test Aerospace Hydraulic components, electrical assemblies, and products, analyze data, and ensure compliance with Acceptance Test Requirements.

Qualifications

Education: high school diploma or GED.
Minimum 3 years in a test technician role in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Mechanical/Electrical knowledge, hydraulics.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Detail-oriented with good problem-solving.
AS9100 knowledge preferred.
Experience with complex parts and production operations.

Responsibilities

Test aerospace hydraulic components and electrical assemblies, and products to support plant operations.
Record and analyze test data to determine if the product meets Acceptance Test Requirements.
Coordinate and participate in installing the unit or system to be tested in test fixtures, connecting valves, pumps, hydraulics, and controls to determine compliance.
Other duties may be assigned to fulfill Donaldson’s mission and objectives.
