Job summary

CFD Research Corporation is seeking a full‑time Systems Test Engineer to lead verification for a complex aerospace and defense hardware system. You will serve as the primary integrator for formal verification testing, coordinating with systems, mechanical, electrical, controls, software, and test operations teams.

You will translate requirements into executable test activities, develop and integrate test plans and procedures, and manage readiness reviews, configurations, and evidence to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline related to systems development.
• 3+ years in engineering with hardware development, system integration, testing, verification, or qualification.
• Experience interpreting requirements into verification activities.
• Ability to work with test instrumentation, data acquisition, and analysis.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the integrated system verification test strategy and planning.
• Organize verification by test into efficient events and minimize redundant testing.
• Develop formal verification test plans with objectives, requirements, configurations, and acceptance criteria.
• Create and integrate formal test procedures with input from SMEs.
• Coordinate internal and external verification testing with teams and facilities.
• Ensure traceability of test results to hardware, software, and system configurations.
