Job summary

CFD Research Corporation seeks a Systems Test Engineer to lead verification and qualification of a complex aerospace hardware system. You'll integrate with systems, mechanical, electrical, controls, software, and test operations to ensure objective verification evidence.

The role requires translating requirements into executable test activities, coordinating with subject matter experts, and ensuring thorough documentation and traceability throughout the verification lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required with analytical aptitude.
• Experience in complex hardware development, integration, testing, or verification.
• Knowledge of MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the system verification strategy and test planning.
• Coordinate internal and external verification testing with multiple teams.
• Prepare formal test plans, procedures, and evidence for verification closure.
• Maintain traceability from requirements to test results and configuration.
