Job summary

AV's 12-week Summer Internship Program offers hands-on experience in testing unmanned systems and avionics components. You will work with engineers on PCBAs, AV systems, and test software using C# in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Eligible students must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, be enrolled in college or recent graduates, and may qualify for relocation or housing stipends depending on location. On-site opportunities across AV locations will be discussed during interviews.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in a relevant engineering or software field.
• 0–2 years of project/test development experience acceptable.
• Familiarity with bug reporting and root-cause analysis is a plus.
• Exposure to object-oriented programming with C# or LabVIEW helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development, deployment and upgrading of test equipment for AV systems.
• Develop test software using C# under Visual Studio environment.
• Collaborate to create test plans, gather specs, and build test strategies.
• Analyze results and format data following standard procedures.
• Support cross-functional engineering teams to meet project timelines.
