Job summary

AeroVironment invites applications for a 12-week Test Equipment Engineering Intern position. The role focuses on designing, developing, and testing equipment for AV systems, including PCBAs and sub-systems, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Strong problem-solving and teamwork are valued as projects span multiple engineering disciplines. Successful candidates are pursuing an engineering degree with a GPA above 3.0 and have familiarity with C# and LabVIEW.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant academic or project experience in test development or lab/manufacturing environments.
• Exposure to bug reports and root-cause analysis.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (C# or LabVIEW) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, deployment, troubleshooting, and upgrading of test equipment used for AV systems during production.
• Support design and development of C# / OOP software using the Visual Studio IDE.
• Develop test software programs in C# under supervision.
• Collaborate to develop test plans, gather requirements, and create test strategies.
• Analyze, process, and format test results following standard practices.
