Job summary

CS Group USA is recruiting an Embedded Software Verification Engineer to lead verification of real-time embedded aerospace systems. The role supports verification lifecycles aligned with DO-178C objectives and collaborates with certification and development teams, with remote-friendly options across the US.

The position requires a bachelor's in CS/SE/CE and 3+ years in embedded software development or verification, with emphasis on verification methods, C/C++ and Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of embedded software development or verification experience.
• Strong knowledge of verification methods, C/C++ and Python.

Responsibilities

• Perform all verification activities for embedded aerospace/defense systems, including artifact review and test development.
• Collaborate with hardware, development and certification teams.
• Ensure verification artifacts meet DO-178C objectives.
• Be aware of simulation, integration, target hardware and HIL testing.
• Ensure traceability from high- to low-level requirements.
• Identify, isolate and analyze verification findings.
• Support schedules and quality objectives; interface with stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
