Job summary

Relativity Space, Inc. in Long Beach, CA, is seeking a Sr Avionics System Test Automation Engineer to design and implement automated test infrastructure for Terran R avionics.

You will build test workflows, review data, and support qualification and acceptance testing in a safety-critical environment. A strong candidate will have CAD interpretation, test instrumentation experience, and a track record of developing robust automation frameworks within high-reliability programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in high-reliability product development and/or testing.
• Experience developing and improving test automation frameworks.
• Experience developing automated pipelines to process, visualize, and review test data during and after hardware validation.
• Hands-on experience with test instrumentation, data acquisition systems, test automation, and data analysis development and verification.
• Experience working in safety-critical or regulated environments with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and automate the test infrastructure used to validate Terran R’s Flight Termination System hardware.
• Build automated test workflows and data review pipelines for efficient verification.
• Support qualification and acceptance testing and collaborate across avionics, software, and systems engineering.
• Document and communicate test results to support V&V processes in a collaborative setting.
