Howmet Aerospace is seeking a System Specialist for our Rochester, NY facility to provide hardware support and enhance the Information Systems department. The role is on-site and includes a $1,000 sign-on bonus with a strong emphasis on end-user support and system maintenance.

The position entails administering manufacturing software, configuring PCs per corporate requirements, and managing Windows Server networks. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in hardware troubleshooting, MIS, or related roles.
• Experience with Windows operating systems.

Responsabilités

• Provide hardware support to computer end users.
• Administer manufacturing software packages on Company network, install updates, and perform tasks within the manufacturing database.
• Configure PC user interfaces, Web integration, and development of Windows Server networks.
• Install and maintain software as directed.
• Troubleshoot and repair network wiring/connections and Company PCs as needed.
• Will be on-call for systems down and mission-critical events.
