Job summary

Howmet Aerospace La Porte, Indiana is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to perform daily maintenance, installation, dismantlement, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical or electrical equipment at our La Porte, IN site.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues across mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic, and electrical systems, and supporting plant infrastructure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 3 years of maintenance technician experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Export-controlled data access and security compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and repairs to keep equipment running reliably.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic, combustion, and electrical systems.
• Install, assemble, rebuild, and repair equipment and support facilities infrastructure.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment.
• Participate in projects, interface with suppliers, lead contracting activities, and use CMMS.
• Identify, specify, and use spare parts.
• Support training, safety, and company objectives.
• Availability for shift and weekend work; holiday and emergency coverage required.
