Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle, WA is seeking an operations integrator to own subsystem CONOPS, architecture, and interfaces for New Glenn and related flight hardware. You will lead development testing, document requirements, and provide real-time on-console support during tests and launches.

Ideal candidates have a BS in engineering, 4+ years in mechanical or hydraulic systems, strong system engineering fundamentals, and hands-on testing experience in aerospace environments.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or related)
• 4+ years of experience with mechanical or hydraulic systems
• Experience with system engineering principles and processes
• Experience in analysis, design, or integrated testing of mechanical or fluid power systems
• Understanding of hydraulic system principles, components, and operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-directed and able to balance multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Support hardware design reviews and technical assessments
• Develop and maintain Concept of Operations (CONOPS) documentation
• Author operations documents defining testing requirements, lifecycle, maintenance, and interfaces
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing and operations teams for seamless integration
• Develop test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria for Stage 1 subsystems
• Provide real-time on-console support for integrated tests, launches and recoveries
• Analyze test data and provide recommendations for design improvements
• Support failure analysis and corrective action implementation
