Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Engineering Co-op intern in the Portland, OR area to design, develop, and test products such as Head-Up Guidance Systems and Enhanced Vision Systems for military, air transport and corporate jet markets.

You will work with the Systems Engineering team on requirement definition, interfaces, verification and validation, and system certification processes with aviation authorities. This role offers hybrid onsite work with relocation eligibility.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Knowledge of aircraft or electronic systems

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test systems including Head-Up Guidance Systems and Enhanced Vision Systems.
• Define interfaces and participate in verification and validation with FAA, EASA and Transport Canada.
