Job summary

RTX offers a Systems Engineering Co-op in the Portland, Oregon metro area to design, develop, and test Head-Up Guidance Systems, Enhanced Vision Systems, and display products for military and corporate jet markets. You will translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications with guidance from experienced engineers.

The role emphasizes learning in technical planning, system integration, and verification/validation across full lifecycle aspects, with a hybrid on-site work

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in STEM and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Knowledge of aircraft or electronic systems

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test head-up guidance and display systems for aerospace markets.
• Define system interfaces and requirements for air–vehicle integration.
• Support verification and validation activities and risk assessment.
