RTX in Cedar Rapids seeks a driven student to join our aerospace engineering team, focusing on avionics integration and system-level requirements analysis. You will work with systems engineers to decompose and verify requirements, and you will help craft test procedures for new capabilities in a hands-on lab environment.

You will gain experience with DOORS, JAMA, JIRA, and ALM while observing Agile workflows on a major aerospace program and seeing how Cedar Rapids decisions impact real aircraft

Qualificações

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or STEM and actively enrolled through the internship/co-op session.
• Interest in aviation, avionics, software, systems engineering, integration, or test is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Work alongside systems engineers developing avionics capabilities for MH-47 and MH-60 helicopters.
• Learn how customer and system-level requirements are captured, decomposed, allocated, reviewed, and verified.
• Help develop engineering requirements and test procedures for new capabilities.
• Perform hands-on testing in Systems Integration Laboratories (SILs) that replicate aircraft avionics environments.
• See how Cedar Rapids engineering decisions support aircraft and crews in demanding environments.
