Job summary

Aerotek in Irvine, CA is seeking an Assembler to perform assembly and testing of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic products. You will follow blueprints, process specs, and written/verbal instructions with supervision.

The role requires reading schematics, wiring and crimping, soldering, and IPC/J standards. It is a contract-to-hire position with full benefits after conversion and a pay range of $21.00–$23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 2 years of assembly experience in small parts industries such as Medical, Aerospace or Electronics.
• Wiring and crimping experience with electrical components.
• Ability to read and write in English for reading blueprints.
• ITAR certification and physical ability to lift 10–20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and schematics without supervision.
• Read and follow router processes.
• Assemble sub- and final assemblies per process and quality specs.
• Perform testing on assigned products as required.
• Disassemble and rework products returned from customers.
• Read and understand prints, BOMs, and BOPs.
• Submit inaccurate paperwork for correction and propose changes.
• Meet or exceed production time and quality standards.
• Use materials and equipment per safe practices.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Utilize computer skills as necessary.
