Job summary

Eaton’s Fuel and Motion Control Systems Division in Irvine, CA is seeking an Assembler II to join a hands-on manufacturing team. You will assemble parts, align components, and verify unit accuracy using precision tools in a 5:30 am–2:00 pm shift.

Responsibilities include following routing sheets, inspecting completed units, and ensuring safety and 5S standards in a fast-paced environment. Prior mechanical assembly experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 2 year previous work experience in mechanical assembly
• No relocation provided. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Irvine, CA in order to be considered.
• This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts or units to specifications using hand and power tools.
• Inspect and test assembled units for tolerances and defects.
• Disassemble and repair returning products when needed.
• Follow routing sheets and safety procedures per 5S standards.
• Assist in tool selection and setup for production.
