Job summary

Moog Avionics in Mineral Wells, TX is seeking a Sustainment Manager to lead sustainment strategy and business development, including pricing, negotiations, and contracts for post-delivery support to ensure long-term system readiness and affordability.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Aerospace Engineering, Business, or similar discipline.
• 10+ years of aerospace sustainment and after-market experience.
• Experience negotiating contracts of $1M+.
• Strong logistics, supply chain, and lifecycle sustainment knowledge.
• Experience with complex aerospace systems (Avionics, mission systems).
• Proficiency in data analysis, reliability metrics, and performance dashboards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proven budget/forecast planning capabilities.
• Travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Sustainment strategy, business development, and long-term growth for Moog Avionics's sustainment book.
• Drive revenue and profit in line with financial expectations.
• Pricing and contract negotiations for recurring and new sustainment business.
• Build business cases and risk/opportunity assessments for related decisions.
• Coordinate with programs, customers, and regulators to align requirements and obligations.
• Act as primary contact for sustainment inquiries from customers and government agencies.
• Monitor budgets and procurement forecasts and translate demand trends.
